Saturday 8th July

The windmill will be open to the public from 11am -4pm, so feel free to come and have a look around. The mill is currently covered with scaffolding as preparation is underway for starting the Phase 1 renovation, but we are still able to open the mill so it won't cause a problem. Price for entry is FREE for society members, £3 for non-members. You may join the society on the day if you wish for £8 annual family membership (£5 individual membership).

Also, on the Saturday, the Art Show will commence. Artwork done by mainly local people will be on display in gardens along the street so please wander up (and down) Windmill Rise and see what budding artistes we have in the area!

Sunday 9th July

Yes, we know it's World Cup Final day, and rest assured, the main activities will be finished before kick off!

The Street Party on Windmill Rise will have entertainment galore throughout the afternoon. A bouncy castle, face painting, a live band, food and lots of games to entertain the younger budding millers! How to find us

Holgate Windmill is situated on Windmill Rise in Holgate, York.

We would be grateful if you could assist us by not parking your car on Windmill Rise. There is ample space on Acomb Road and the windmill can be easily accessed via the snicket indicated on the map and which will be signposted.

Unfortunately there is no disabled access to the windmill and please note that the nearest toilet facilities are in West Bank Park.
