Membership - Join the Society

HWPS Members at Wrawby Mill

We need as much support as possible to demonstrate to grant bodies and possible sponsors that our project has the full support of the local community and will actively benefit the people of York (and the wider windmilling world). To help us achieve our goal, please join our society at the bargain price of £5 per year for an individual or £8 for family membership. We keep our members regularly informed of progress through our quarterly newsletter “Millnews”. We also keep you informed of forthcoming events so you can join in the fun! Membership also grants you free access to the windmill on Open days.

If you would like to join: Simply fill in a Membership Application Form and post it to the address shown.

Other ways you could help
• We are currently looking for sponsors to help fund the restoration - Check out our sponsorship pages and if you would like to discuss possible suggestions, please contact our chairman, Bob Anderton. It would be fantastic to hear from you.

• Make a donation. If you would like to help our cause please get in touch with Bob Anderton, or alternatively you could fill out a donation form and send it directly to our treasurer.

• Help support our cause by purchasing HWPS merchandise from our shop.

•Let us know if you have any historic information, pictures or articles about the mill that you would like to show us. Chris Weaire is our in-house archivist and would be happy to hear from you.
