What's happening? One of our resident photographers, Nick Ansell, will be at the mill this Saturday. He will be displaying a selection of images he has captured of the mill and it's restoration over the years. You'll be able to see the mill in it many moods and discuss different aspects of it's photography. Whether you're a professional, enthusiast or selfie-snapper there's plenty of material here to work with! Come and see us any time between 11:00 and 4:00pm on Saturday 27th August. Summer Saturdays

We're looking forward to July as we will be starting our Summer Saturdays, which are extra events in the mill on open day Saturday afternoons. We begin on 2 July with a demonstration of traditional hand spinning from Madeline Evans of York and District Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers. See how easy it looks then try it yourself! On 16 July Jenny Hartland, one of the creators of this year's exhition Seeing the Wood and the Trees will talk about woods, what we use them for and where they are found in the windmill.
