What do we sell?

Try one of the varities of flour that we have for sale at the mill. They can be used for a number of things and we have suggested a few with each flour.

Strong Wholemeal Wheat Flour

Available in 500g, 1.5kg and 5kg bags.

Our strong wholemeal wheat flour is made using regeneratively grown grain from The Wolds Project in East Yorkshire. It is a versatile flour with a rich wholemeal flavour, particularly suited to breadmaking and sourdough.

Elego Wholemeal Rye Flour

Available in 500g and 1kg bags.

Rye flour makes a denser bread than flour made using 100% wheat. It produces a darker loaf with a distinctive flavour and can also be blended with wheat flour or used to create and maintain a sourdough starter.

Zollernspelz Strong Wholemeal Spelt Flour

Available in 1kg and 5kg bags.

Spelt is an ancient variety of wheat with a gently nutty flavour. It can be used in many of the same ways as conventional wheat flour, either on its own or blended with other flours to add a different flavour and texture.

Blackwheat Wholemeal Black Wheat Flour

Available in 1kg bags.

This distinctive wholemeal flour retains its naturally dark colour when baked, giving bread, pastry and cakes a rich colour and character.

Öland Wholemeal Wheat Flour

Available in 1kg.

Named after the Swedish island where it originated, Öland wheat has distinctive nutty and oaty notes. Its flavour and baking qualities make it an interesting choice for bread and other wholemeal baking.
